Who We Are

AMFP serves a constituency that interacts directly with the business office and/or C-suite, and supervises multiple aspects of health care facilities management including healthcare facility design, construction and operations. AMFP is one of the most prominent healthcare facilities-related organizations internationally, with members throughout the world.

AMFP’s nationwide educational seminar series has traveled to 25 different cities (some multiple times), resulting in a forum where facilities managers can problem solve with healthcare architects, designers, engineers, contractors and administrators.

For more information about AMFP, visit the organization’s website: http://amfp.info.

AMFP is an organization that exists to serve the healthcare facility manager and executive involved in the business strategy of their institution or corporate system regarding the use of real estate whether new or existing in the fulfillment of their business and community goals. AMFP facilitates the delivery of timely information about the marketplace that may impact their decisions as they continually assess the use and effectiveness of their portfolio of properties to fulfill their mission. While other organizations already exist to serve on the maintenance, upkeep and compliance issues regarding facilities, AMFP will assist in focusing on informing about right property, right function, right size, etc. as it relates to their strategic needs.

The Goal of AMFP

The goal of AMFP North Texas is to develop an association of healthcare management professionals which provides a strategic approach to healthcare real estate, construction, design and facilities education. We offer a platform to network with your peers to continue the professional growth of each individual.

What makes AMFP distinctive and created the need for AMFP, is other organizations are almost entirely focused on the important area of healthcare facilities code compliance and the changes in their codes. To accomplish this, meetings are heavily engineering and engineering service provider focused. These organizations perform a tremendously important role in our industry! We support and encourage their amazing accomplishments!

The Association of Medical Facility Professional’s evident focus is in the areas of healthcare real-estate, architecture, interior design, and the economic status of the current and future health care environment. Instead of a once or twice a year attempt to cover these areas, our organization was created to have ongoing, local monthly dialog and meetings.

Our professional members include real-estate, construction, design and facilities focused healthcare management including C-suite professionals. Our associate members, or business partners, include the industries that support the goals of our professionals.
